HOW DOES THE DESIGN PREVIEW GET TO YOU:

We send you a low quality screen shot attached to an email. It will not be print quality, just a preview. It may appear blurry as we have simply copied an image off the screen - the printed badge will not appear blurry. We supply images this way due to copyright and to get designs to you as quickly as possible. Most people get their designs within a few hours.

The colours on the final badge may appear slightly different from the preview due to your computer screen settings. Orders are printed using Kodak machines onto premium 120gsm white or premium 80gsm coloured paper. They are printed on premium settings.

WHAT OTHER DESIGN WORK HAVE I DONE:

I have been designing websites for ten years; such as this one you are on now.

One of my websites has been featured on BBC radio & in local newspapers - a community website for the Clifton area of the City of York, UK. Clifton Online was a large site with community information such as schools, doctors, events calendar, and old photographs of the area. I designed and maintained the site and worked with a group of volunteers to run the project. Unfortunately the website closed down when funding ran out at the end of the local regeneration scheme. It ran from 2002-2005

Another one of my sites was featured in a national internet magazine. I was the editor and designer of a successful film & book review site which featured weekly puzzles and interative areas. The site is nolonger active due to lack of funding but the popular newsletter still has over 500 recipients and is run by a group of volunteers. Mars7 still has links with publishing houses and ran from 1999-2006. We hope to bring her back in 2008!

My Edmund Cooper site is very much alive. It is a tribute to the late author who was an important part of British Science Fiction culture. I run the only site on the internet that is supported by the Edmund Cooper Literary trust and members of his family. The site contains information about his works as well as a fun interative quiz.

Other sites I have designed include: York Labour Party website (online 2000-2003), Bright Beginnings Day Nursery (online 2001-2002), Mars9 web design (online 2001-2003), York Breastfeeding Directory (online 2002-2006), Jupiter5 book reviews (online 2003-2005), CCS Community Services (2003-2006), HomeStart York website (designed 2003). These sites were all designed free of charge by myself but are nolonger active due to the clients not wishing to continue with their own web hosting charges. I still take on design work for voluntary groups and may take on interesting projects for other clients - for a small charge.
